    It's interesting to feel Glendronach as an IB bourbon, but it's nice.

      Powerful. Citruses, tannic oak, ripe fruits, pepper and rhubarb.

      Long, spicy, sour.

    SMWS Tasting Notes: We sniffed out dried apricots, pleasant wood and soft leather tobacco pouches – all cradled in the delightful sweetness of jam donuts, volcano cakes, Bakewell tart and salted caramel fudge. We found the palate intensely sweet, with dried pineapple and papaya, sweetie tobacco (coconut) and Rich Tea biscuits, but with an after-nip of Cajun spice, gooseberry, cassis and tannic oak. The reduced nose gave us brandy snaps, coconut ice, pears in custard and gulab jamin in syrup – complicated by delicate suggestions of lemon balm, spearmint and menthol. The palate now majored on delicious fruitiness – strawberry Mivvi, forest fruit sorbet and rhubarb rock.
