A delicious drop with a good price-performance ratio. Probably not too old.

Stunning vanilla. The alcohol is there, but not intrusive. Dried fruits, such as figs and raisins.
    • Taste
      86 86
Strong in the start. The vanilla is there for a moment before it is replaced by strong wood notes with a strong peppery touch.
    • Finish
      84 84
The pepper subsides quickly and there isn't much left, which suggests a rather young age.

  7. Mankut scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

Super great whisky. Not too old, I guess around 8-10 years. Creamy spice and great sweetness on the palate. Drinkable without water despite the barrel strength.

  8. Kaleva scored this whisky 78 points Expert Senior

The nose was very promising but all peasant moments ended up here. The palate is harsh even being diluted to the normal strength. And oak. It’s just too much of it. Bitter astringent palate and aftertaste just do not let you to enjoy the dram.
    • Nose
Sweet, fresh, slightly creamy, floral notes, apples, pears, vanilla, lemon cake, soft oak on the background. Water opens up tropical fruits notes (mango, passion fruit), toffee and hint of honey
    • Taste
Medium-sweet, light minerality, apple mash, cereals, lemon zest, strong oak with noticeable bitterness
    • Finish
Medium-long, dry, oaky, bitter, nutty, astringent, somewhat sweetish
