In contrast to the old bottling, I find that the alcohol is much better integrated here.
For me it is a very successful mixture of the old Glencoe and the last 10 Ben Nevis. Very tasty, very drinkable without water and dangerous to drink. I really like it!

Flavor is srassy, zesty, aggressively fruity. Taste is oily, bold, buttert, malty, fruity. Finish echoes taste stable for a long time!

A great value for money whisky in my book, considering the composition (not single malt), age (8 years old) and price (GBP 36 at the distillery). Really enjoyable.

Buttery, basic fruits (apple and the likes). Cereal notes and nutty, citrus and oak. Needs water.
    • Taste
      86 86
Warming, like a fruit pie straight from the oven. Mushy fruits, apples again, with stone fruit. Malty sweetness, roasted pecans layered in honey.
    • Finish
      82 82
Slightly sharp at first, with an odd metallic note. A hint of bitter, with a sweet edge. Warming from start to finish.

hot, alcoholic ... a little flower meadow
    • Taste
      71 71
undiluted almost undrinkable hot and alcoholic; denatured alcohol occurs to me spontaneously.
When diluted with water, a fleeting trace of grass and barley remains
    • Finish
      69 69
Sharp burning alcohol, unfortunately nothing else ... diluted with water it loses its heat, but with it every finish. Very weak...
