    1450) Cambus, 1993, 25YO, #DL13062, Old Particular, Douglas Laing

N- Bright and sweet with citrus zest, also fresh peaches and melon drizzles with butterscotch, maple, and creamier note of papaya, some corn crisp and hearty warm pancake. All well and ok but feel elementary. Unlike Strathclyde DL tried recently which evolve well with times, this headed the other direction instead. (86/20)

P- Sweet herbs and peppery, honey with subtle earth with feel of peat underlay, not sure on the mashbill for this, although small amount of peated barley added are not common but possible. Get feinty with distant rubber developed, as well spent matches and plenty of wheat and rye. Spicy mouth coat with odd oily oak. (84/18)

F- Medium long, fresh fruits return, creamy and spicy. Earthy peppers. Soapy and lightly cloying. (83/18)

    B/B- 84/18

Weighted Rate- 74pt Distilled 4 months before its closure in September 1993, probably not much of love when this were make.
    — at The Whisky Bar, Kuala Lumpur.
