Whisky Reviews for Highland Queen 15-year-old McdM

I bought this blend for 30 €. The bottle was exported to Portugal in the 70s. Then let's open this time capsule!
    • Nose
Shoe box (cardboard and leather), an old wardrobe with lavender bags, honey, waxy, chamomile, subtle smoky notes.
    • Taste
Sweet with light smoke, waxy and slightly perfumed, the OBE is clearly recognizable, you do not notice the alcohol at all, although the age and low alcohol content, it does not fall off strong
    • Finish
Short and sweet - what he has kept in his nose and partly in his mouth does not go on here. Pity...

I am glad that I have invested the money. Not to compare with today's blends.
