The nose is rather sweet on honey, nuts and breakfast cereals with a
mildly sour touch as if from apple cider. Reminds me somewhat of that Cidre
Fermier Doux from Le Royer that I tried on holiday in France. Nougat joins in.
Not bad, but far from great. Rather undemanding, actually.
On the palate, it shows a little more character with some spices and
fruit like oranges and apricots. Again that light acidity as if from cider. It
is just a tad too sour to be really good.
The finish is medium on slightly bitter oranges and spices. Think
cinnamon and nutmeg.
