    • Nose
      Citroen, groene appel, witte druiven, honing, peer, meloen, papaja en vleugje kokos.
    • Taste
      Appelmoes, citroenschil, vanille, honing, noten, kaneel, hooiachtig en een mix van tropisch fruit.
    • Finish
      Middellang, appelmoes, zure witte druiven, citroen, tropisch fruit, beetje witte peper, kaneel, noten en hooiachtig.

    A Scapa from 2005, First Fill Bourbon Barrels from the independent bottler G&M, light yellow and with 43% vol.
    In short: my case is not him.

      Somewhat sour, then hay, herbs and mint come. Overall a bit out of round.
    • Taste

      Strong, peppery, sharp and inharmonic. Cooling mint.
    • Finish
      78 78
      Rather short, sharp, herbaceous.

    A weak nose is followed by a fine, but extremely tasty palate. 79 points.
    • Nose
      Behavior in the nose. Thin oak, woody herbs. A hint of sweet vanilla comes out subtly, but it takes a while. A little unripe banana.
    • Taste
      Vanilla and aromatic oak, spicy tobacco. Creamy, sweet and tasty. Bananas. Really good! A pleasant bitterness remains in the mouth.
    • Finish
      Medium to short. Tobacco and vanilla.
