- Nose: young, crisp Portmalt rises in the nose. Very fruity, but also has a bit of mineral. Dry red wine, pear, herbs, mint, strawberry cake, biscuit, light honey and slightly grassy.
Taste: slightly oily, again it is reminiscent of wine, first bitter then sweeter and fruity. Pineapple, pear, green apple, citrus, passion fruit, in the back but getting bitter again. With fantasy, some milk chocolate.
Finish: short to medium long, the oak covers the tongue, tart herbs, grassy, the fruit fades with time. The oak is surprisingly long.
Jo can do it, beautiful crisp summer color, not too boring, a year more might have done him good.
