Great note of sherry, blood oranges, winter fruits, pastries and light, barely perceptible smoke. In the background the smell of broth.
A light pepper note comes with the blood orange to the fore. A great sherry taste without the sometimes annoying and overlying raisin flavor wrapped in light smoke. Fine caramel suggests.
Slowly, the smoke dominates and dissolves orange, shortbread and cherry flavors.
Then, unfortunately, a sulfur note comes to the fore, which does not do the whisky good.
Is more common with Bruichladdich.
There may be lovers for this flavor, for me it is rather a false note of rotten egg, which has cost the otherwise very good whisky a much better grading.
