Smell: blackcurrant and a side coffee, a little tobacco, a little leather. There is also boiled sugar, candy and pink grapefruit that holds it all.
On the palate: red fruit over-ripening, prunes, candied kumquat. Bitter chocolate
Final: a bitterness of grapefruit, candy sugar, a hint of medicinal. The blackcurrant side that always squeeze
I find this whisky, very greedy by its side sherry. Alcohol is well integrated without aggressiveness and with roundness.

Nose: Under its beautiful copper color hides perfumes of caramel, blood orange, it is sweet, creamy, the influence of sherry is pleasant. Chocolate comes in, but also freshly brewed coffee, powerful at times. The opening will intensify the fruity aspect, while maintaining energy, the whole is not clumsy. Red fruits, in this same trend, fresh rather than candied, even if the border is thin. More and more dark chocolate, almost bitter.

Palate: With a perfectly integrated alcohol, this whisky speaks directly to your taste buds. Candied orange, deep caramel. Gradually she will hold the fleeing, chocolatey promises of the nose. The influence of this finish in Octave Sherry is very noticeable and very pleasant, since I insist, it has energy, without letting too powerfully speak the 53.2%. Red berries, berries, syrupy, on blackcurrant confectionery. Coffee of course always present.

Finale: Slight bitterness on citrus zest. Always this caramel, which will now take a less creamy look, get closer to a piece of cane sugar. Plant presence, aromatic plants, close to peppermint. Finally back on this confectionery with blackcurrant, elderberry, this kind of things.
