      brioche leaven,
      nuts, honey
    • Taste
sweetness in the mouth, then return of the wine a little acid, a little rough
return of nuts, butter, pasty sensation in mouth
fruity sensation with dry, alcohol-filled white grapes
return sweet, grassy, vanilla, on the poached white peaches
    • Finish
      candy sugar, honey, herbs, gentian
      woody, important with roasted almonds
syrupy yellow wine a little maderized
      medium but ternace finish

Atypical for Couvreur but has something of its own and very nice. Absolutely no sherry bomb. More like that in the refill direction. Absolutely to my taste.

A little too light in the flavors but still great malt!

First of all sour with delicate dry sherry. You can guess light but a lot of depth. Rather dry sherry. Over time, the fruits become ripe and darker. A fine nuttiness opens up. Walnut with dark chocolate.

      It gets better over time!

Now comes the sherry. The acidic can only be guessed at. Ripe, bright fruits with a spice like nutmeg and white pepper take over. Walnut with dark chocolate.

    • Finish
      87 87
Medium to long, with a nice distinct oak note. The mouth becomes drier but the peppery and spicy remains.

Sweet cereal. Bright grapes, honey. Generally very soft and supple, with a hint of oak. Round, elegant.
    • Taste
      88 88
Sweet, sweet, but not sticky. Tingling and fresh. Oatmeal with honey. Hazelnuts and sweet herbs.
    • Finish
      87 87
Medium long, sweetish the whisky remains in the mouth. Bright grape skins.

    of the JV and notes:
Nose: In the first place woody, very slightly toasted.
Palate: At first soft, delicate but ample.
