The price in Sweden's Systembolaget is 799,- SeK, which is about £66, a bit more than I have been willing to gamble on 0,5 of unknown bourbon.
Thanks to karloff for the sample, I may pick up a bottle next time I see it.
Quite sophisticated sweetness.
Vanilla with a "musky" ginger undertone.
Sugary brown syrup and roasted chestnuts.
Little to no alc fumes.
Would have been interesting to know the age, because this is either more than average for a bourbon or it was a cask from an exceptional oak tree.
Some time in the glass and it appears a bit lighter and more fruity, even some faint floral notes.
A perfect follow up to the nose.
Sweet with a mixture of brown sugar and vanilla.
It immediately coats the mouth in pleasing goodness, no wavering. Gentle gingery spice and roasted flavours are present from the get go.
It doesn't evolve much, but who cares with such a good entry.
About medium lenght. Sweet and a tiny bit drying.
