- Over the past month this whisky changed slightly for me. Although it has gotten a bit better over time, I am still disappointed. For a malt aged for no less then 24 years it has quite little to offer in depth.
- ["Another brick in the wall" tasting session - n°5]
Very nice, nothing more. Nice lemon meringue pie notes. The almost soap-like notes on the nose can be disturbing to some, but not to me, I think they fit the "spring" profile very well.
Very light and fresh, with lemon meringue pie and almost some soap-like notes, that fit very well in this context. Spring whisky. Coriander.
Nice balance and nice fruity presence, green melon, lemon.
- N: lots of citrus-lime and lemon, barley flour, wood glue
P: loads of barley, citrus - lemons and limes
F: weakest part. similar to palate but short, the wood glue does come out in the finish
If you like nosing your whisky, this is it. The nose is far the best part. This is more complex than my notes, I recommend.
