    @ Tom na Gruagaich,
but that is from a sherry barrel,
    and very sweet.
Since you have probably felt something else.

Did he peck? Yes, with some drawbacks. I admit that the soap and perfumed are demanding. That would not be a candidate for a large bottle for me.
    • Nose
Pretty classic ex-bourbon first, yellow fruits, some oak, but then it will be different. Some cumin, citrus, a little bergamot, a little bit of sweat, linseed oil, the whole does not seem fruity light anymore, but rather oblique, but harmonious, vanilla and fruit hold the flavors together.
    • Taste
Instantly the spice of the oak, musk, highly perfumed, a lot of oak, a little soapy, spicy, no more fruit.
    • Finish
bitter, almost bitter, the soapy, perfumed remains. A certain sour oak, oak, some tobacco, hidden smoke and at the very end a shot of soap.

Balance sheet (22) Quite a nice, dense fragrance and a good balance ... there was hardly enough body and spice. (86)
    • Nose
      Aroma thick ... mushrooms ... dried fruits, orange tincture ... chocolate ... nut ... pandemonium ... (22)
    • Taste
The taste is rather tasty ... woody, spicy ... slightly sour (21
    • Finish
Finish spicy ... moderately sweet ... orange and fruit chewing gum ... paper (21)

Blindtasting tip: Bourbon barrel, 30 years, 48%, Littlemill or Bladnoch or something else awesome = D Resolution: Krass!
    • Nose
OMFG! What is that horny nose? Instant sugar-sweet yellow fruit compote, tropical chewing gum, a blend of grapes, mango, banana and a peach concentrate, cotton candy
    • Taste
Yellow fruits, creamy, no alcohol noticeable, mango, orange juice, vanilla, terrific
    • Finish
The fruits continue to dominate, plus a lot of vanilla, some oak, no bitterness

  5. Calmar scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

    Pleasant, well-made and well-balanced whisky.
    • Nose
Dried fruits and mineral tones, then dried fruits are seconded to fresh fruit (rather apples) and sea air, the smells of the carpentry shop and again dried fruits - a whole feeling of freshness and light spirituousness.
    • Taste
Oak and sweetness, pepper, fruit compote - a palette of taste is poor, but generally quite powerful.
    • Finish
Pepper-ginger burning, then sweet and sour fruit, citrus notes - in the background woody-mineral tones. The average duration.

One for me (despite being 17 years old) an average malt. Only the powerful and long finish convinces me. The taste is just too wooden for me.
    • Nose
Subtle, fruity sherry with a fine woody note, light vanilla and malt.
    • Taste
Again subtle sherry, wooden oak with a light tingling in the mouth, light sweetness and fruit.
    • Finish
Warming, strong, bitter woody notes, long and powerful, again slightly tingling.

OK but not complex enough and need a little more power. The whole lack may be some wood, vanilla, caramel and green fruit ...
    • Nose
Very classic: wood, vanilla, caramel, green fruit, wood, vanilla, caramel, green fruit, wood, vanilla, caramel, green fruit, wood, vanilla, caramel, green fruit, wood, vanilla, caramel, green fruit, and perhaps, there is a lot of wood, notes of vanilla, a hint of caramel and a touch of green fruit.
    • Taste
Very sweet, sweet. It is quite unctuous and rather a pleasant surprise with the nose. Well, certainly, the aromas are quite classic: wood, vanilla, caramel, green fruit, wood, vanilla, caramel, green fruit, wood, vanilla, caramel, green fruit, wood, vanilla, caramel, green fruit, ...
    • Finish
A little spicy, woody. Average length. Too low at 40 degrees.
