Whisky Reviews for Springbank 18-year-old

- Really smooth and elegant. The sturdiness of the younger expressions has settled down, but is still noticeable. Perfectly alc. volume and balance. Due to the priority of bourboncasks there are wonderful mature distillery characterisic shining through the whole panoply of aromas. Really lovely whisky.
- 1424) Springbank, 18YO, (Batch 26/11/2018)
Day 31 of Lockdown - 17th April - Queuing up to get into the grocery store with mask and keeping a meter from everyone becomes some of the new normalcy in life.
Has been declining over past few years. For this batch again is not on the same league as the 18YO back in 2013, when the gripping powerful sip that throw me into my whisky journey till now. Whisky evolved as to life too, sometime becoming better, or got worst.
No note. Still a decent Springbank 18.

- Equal and balanced springbank, without any significant failures, but also some vivid impressions
Citruses, salty smoke, honey and fresh milk, light enough
salty oil, a little iodine with smoke and dry wood
the aftertaste continues the same tones that gives the nose and taste, quite evenly, of medium duration
