Best of all, not a hint of sulfur. Otherwise a bit boring.

The finish dominates here clearly, caramel sweetness, the red fruit and spicy oak act consistent. Quite delicious and tasty, depth and complexity, but looking in vain. Does not change even with water, only a little softer.
    • Nose
The nose starts very sweet with marzipan and red fruits, red cherries, and sweet strawberries. Brown sugar candy, light caramel, and some vanilla. The oak shows kräutrig / spicy with tomato plants and white pepper. It is amazing that the alcohol is not felt in the freshly restricted Dram, but then after a few minutes makes something unpleasantly pungent.
    • Taste
Oily mouthfeel. Strong, sweet onset, again the slightly burnt caramel, with nutty notes, roasted almonds. The cherries and strawberries are back, backed by some vanilla. The oak then takes over with white pepper, and the alcohol is also clearly noticeable. The mouth begins to tingle.
    • Finish
Short finish, tingling something else. The oak is getting stronger, but the red fruits and the caramel are still there. The alcohol now looks cool, with a menthol note.

    • Nose
Black cherries immediately reveal the Amarone. Added to this are vanilla and aromatic brown cane sugar. Not particularly deep, but the existing flavors are wonderfully focused.
    • Taste
Nutty mild, a little pepper, before then a pleasant maltiness finds its way. A thick spread jam bread with red jam and again the brown sugar.
    • Finish
      Pumpernickel and strawberries
