Whisky Reviews for Ledaig 19-year-old

- Fantastic nose, very complex with various fruits, sea breeze and peat flavours in good harmony.
Strawberry jam with some charcoal, pieces of grilled apple, seasalt. The salt makes it fresh and like a storm wind. A little bit of tar and rubber. Baked cookies towards burned chocolate chip cookies.
Very mild and slightly lacking in strength. Sure the smoke and flavours are plenty, but watered down. After a while more bread and butter.
Again a little bit of rubber. Lemons and mineral water, a little bright but spoiled with ashes.
- Full, aromatic handfilled bottle. Successful ex-bourbon and sherry keg maturation.
At the Distillery 0.2 liters for £ 45 = expensive, but good!
