Great Sherrynote but not so good, rather daring. The 58.7% are good, but not optimally involved.
The classic taste of raisins and dark ripe fruit dominates in a composition of a submissive woody aroma, which remains only in the background and gives a truly balanced flavor.
Caramel, toffee and vanilla flavors dominate both the smell and the taste.
The finish is relatively long and shows the interplay of raisin and rum and caramel flavors with a fine woody note, which does not bother and is superimposed by the Sherrysüße.
After the sweet notes are gone, but then comes at the end of a woody taste to the fore, which lasts for a long time.
For me, a whisky, the price of € 59.99 convinced. For the price-performance ratio, there are the 90 points.
