Grandiose composition with many facets
I was blown away immediately. I find it very special, because there are not flavors behind the smoke, but the smoke is discreet and lies behind the aromas of sherry.
Overall, very round. I have citrus, vanilla here; Malt; Honey; Spices, also maritime, but much tamer and more mature than the 10s. I feel the smoke as very pleasant and discreet. Vanilla and dark fruits shake hands here. The sweet vanilla and malt note blends into caramel. gloriously
Sweet; Smoke (extinguished fire, smoke) now fruits come (dark fruits)
Very creamy in the mouth, the chili sharpness is there, but clearly tamer and gentler, yet easy to recognize, again spices, herbs; the smoke is stronger than in the aroma; a hint of orange, light dark chocolate note (I associate it with the sherry)
Now with the second sip I have a slight lethargy. Come on, WOW, I'm thrilled. again herbs, a certain freshness, but still grown and ripe. After a few sips, the barrel becomes stronger and stronger. Slowly I have a nut note behind the leather note.
I'm in love. From start to finish a great malt!
Long, orange is there, soft smoke, now it's getting sweet, dried fruit; slowly the mouth becomes dry, but not unpleasantly dry. The maritime touch remains. Cold smoke remains behind. Madness, this malt is really awesome
