Nose seem a bit mute. Spices and a touch of tangerines not much more. After some times, it fortunately intensifies, with the addition of rounder notes (butterscotch), oak and a light (and curious) herbaceous side ? After even longer it could be reminiscent of a light Springbank, saltiness and peat appart.
In mouth a bit on the dry side, astringent touch and acidic fruits. Salted caramel too, not round enough to please me, but it has a real presence.
Medium finish, on the same notes with the addition of some concentrated milk.
Time really helped on the nose. I had a nicer experience with the 12 y-o which felt less on the bitter side of sherry I'm not fond of. 6/10
Edit : two and half week, and half the sample later. Nose has open up, I wouldn't say herbaceous but flowery (lilacs). Really nice nose. In mouth it still feels too light and a bit too pungent for me.
