Pretty rare bottling of old Ledaig. Pretty much my favorite kind of whisky. Imported to the American market only.

Very warm, very fresh, warm cake, marzipan, caramel fudge, and yes, that ever-present wonderful old-school peat. Oh, this is so fragrant. Very cohesive. Let's hope they didn't ruin it too much by diluting to 40%.

Yup, as expected, thin mouthfeel, but very unique taste... a minty diesel quality, combination of camphor and gasoline, slightly bitter herbal quality, hint of ginseng, and plastic?

Let's be honest, G&M screwed up this whisky by diluting it to 40%. A sad moment in history.
