- Dried fruits figs raisins on the nose, well integrated sherry, good balance, really love these first smws bottlings!
- N: Only my seventh Millburn following on from the sixth i had had the night before LINK. This is a natural one, light and distillate led with a grassy/yeasty/honeyed sweetness, apples & pears and a sweaty humidity - a [new] note has appeared twice now. Maybe that’s something to do with my immediate environment perhaps?
T&F: Light cider, some TTR and fruit tannins,... tales off.
C: Nice, light, easy, yet complex also. Blog

- Very powerful sherried Millburn. Very rare.
Old skool nose of raisins, dried figs and dates intermingled with roasted chestnuts. Cigar boxes and tobacco. Kirsch-liqueur as well. Some smoke. A touch of sulphur at the background, but not at a disturbing level.
Classic sherried whisky with X-mas Cake, prunes and chocolate. Espresso coffee. But also sweetness of dried apricots, Turkish delights and bananas. Later on meaty notes of cured ham. Burnt wood. It's very powerful.
Long with spices of black pepper and nutmeg. Cinnamon. A little ginger. Tannins at the end.
