For those who missed out on batch no.1, don’t fret. This hits the same vein and is even a little sweeter and “easier” than the first Glenlivet. Definitely a good PPR!
    • Nose
Very similar to batch no. 1. Quite toffied, full of caramel and candied oranges. A brightly fruity sherry profile. Definitely canned pears, as well as a touch of pineapple. Nice!
    • Taste
Juicy-spicy arrival. Quite pungently honeyed, herbal with eucalyptus, and peach puree. Rather sweet all the way through. Hardly any bitterness or tannins to be found here.
    • Finish
Medium. Herbal honey, toffey, a touch of virgin oak as well.

Similar to batch # 1 in the nose, but less complex and sharper. The taste is also stronger, spicy. The fruity has a slightly artificial touch, which then gets stuck in the finish. Solider paints, but does not get to the predecessor

It's nice and balanced between sweetness, spiciness and bitterness from the wood. Nothing special, just a nice example of a 10-12 YO sherried Glenlivet.

This Small Batch Glenlivet is a little Sherrybitch. Not very complex but tasty. Sherry is on the fruity side (oranges, mandarins, apples). The 48% are great. Very tasty in the mouth with clear oak and slight pepperiness. Mid-long fruity dry finish with oak and cocoa. That's fun. 87-88P

    • Nose
Full of fruity sherry, with lots of cherries, dark fruit juice bears and mint. Gradually, a dry Floralität follows, oak, malt and inlaid oranges. Really beautifull.
With water: fruity with cherry chocolate, oak, vanilla and jaffacake.
    • Taste
Very sherrytönig and dense. Wonderfully fruity with cherries, haribo and rosehips. Then there are pencil shavings, dried oranges and a woody spice.
With water: lighter and floral. Lots of cherry, oranges in orange, pink grapefruit, gummi bears and a dry florality.
    • Finish
Long and sherry-toned with pencil shavings, mint and steamed dried fruit.
