Whisky Reviews for Glenlochy 1977 GM

1 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 86.00 points

  1. St. Pauli scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

Very pleasant to drink, quite oily, rounded and very friendly.
    • Nose
Quite malty, fruity and slightly smoky. There is a pleasant, thick cereal note, together with honey, beeswax and pollen. Then, there is orange, and a hint of dried fruit (tutti frutti). It ends with gentle wood smoke and some vanilla.
    • Taste
Quite oily, thick, and not aggressive at all. It's again malty and fruity. Yet, it is less smoky and therefore greener: mint and chamomile.
    • Finish
A nice finish, with biscuit, honey, vanilla cream, honey, orange, and a bit of pepper.
