Whisky Reviews for Glenlivet 12-year-old

Very light nose…, almost flat and not very excitant. Little malt and vanilla what I normally like most of the time but it needs something more than that and it's missing backbone.
Soft creamy entry with a little spicy tingle but still too flat for me altough there is nothing wrong with it if you like a softer drink at 40%.
Short finish and not a lot to remember.
- Uncomplicated and easy to drink.
Light and fresh at the first start. First flowery but then fast with a nice vanilla sweetness,
Light and mild on the tongue. Less sweet than in the nose. Malty. A touch of light oak.
Rather short. Mild and malty.
- Nose:- Delicate, easy, fresh fruit with notes of mineral and bowl of petals.
Palate:- Creamy and good weight, balance with delicious malt and fruit.
Finish:- Smooth, simple, direct and friendly. Short to medium length.
