Whisky Reviews for North Islay 2008 SE

- Full, rich and complex. Mi 100% a Bunna. When I smell the aroma, I imagine myself in warehouse 9 again.
- Very nice balance. Caol Ila seems obvious for a 'North Islay', but it actually seems more like a peated Bunna to me. Caol Ila on bourbon is absolutely more 'crisp' than this.
Taai-taai, a sweet and slightly spicy type of gingerbread. Even more so than peat. A subtle cranberry topping.
Peaty, peppery. Again that gingerbread with berry sweetness, now covered in chocolate.
Sweeter again, the peppery side is gone. Printen in chocolate.
