Nose: Surprisingly light with blackcurrant and red grapes smell. After some minutes, the nose expands to become deeper, richer and more aromatic.

Palate: Rich and very creamy sherry, blackcurrant, cherries, red grapes and dark chocolate.

    - Finish: Long, very long and warm. Overall Impression: It's an amazing whisky, a true great which came to the top1 or top2 Kavalan sherry single cask I have been tasted before. You can's miss it if you are a fan of sherry bomb.

The color is dark, very dark. Tbh this reminds me of some dark 1990 Glenfarclas family casks I have tried..
    • Nose
      93 93
A blast of oloroso sherry, sherry coated figs, dark chocolate, wood, cacao powder. All sorts of dark forrest berries. The alcohol is so well integrated here.
    • Taste
      92 92
Sweet sherry, wood, nuts, condensed fig/prune juice. This is big and bold. On the mid-palate there is some wonderful tropical fruits layered with cacao powder.
    • Finish
      91 91
The palate continues and slowly fades. In the end tobacco and cola notes appears.

Similar to the Kavalan Solist Moscatel I drank before, how to say, it reminds me a bit of the suicide performer in the Black Mirror. Once I accept the settings in Taiwan, I will find that most of the wine is really boring. The first one The person who threw the urinal into the art exhibition is an innovation. What is behind the cat and the tiger?
    • Nose
Ah, the third Bay Bay recently. Herbal Shirley, Jizhi syrup, Sunflower Pediatric Feire Kechuan Oral Liquid, mixed with Glendronach-style pits and some of the pungent ones common in American Bourbon Varnish and vanilla. In addition to the black fruits brought by the common sherry, there are more figs, vermouth and cranberries, which are extremely sweet, honey, and the tail is very dry, dry sherry, cocoa, oak residue, silver shavings and A little mint.
    • Taste
Bitterness and burning, acidity of berries, bitterness of herbs, greasiness of nuts, burning wood, black fruit jam, fruit is generally bland/tropical, and more towards toffee in sherry buckets, hand-punched and 90 % Black Qiao's hanging, herbal leaves.

Strong, medium fat, generally sweet, generally sour, no tannins, a little astringent, obvious bitterness, no spiciness.
    • Finish
For a long time, similar to the strong taste of strong tea, espresso, oak and leaves.

Eyes: soy sauce and smell. Nose: vinasse, sulfur, gunpowder, barbecue sauce, ripe dark berries, slightly bad wood residue, loquat cough slurry, thick black jam, bitterness, overcooked Figs starting to pantothenic acid. It feels like the Shirley combo boxing set of Taiwanese, but I quite eat this set, at least it will not disgust me.
Taste Palate: dark berries, floral, woody notes, amazing fig and peach jam, Lindt toffee, hot cocoa, cigarettes, black chocolate, a little bit of metal, noticeable hot black tea, a little herbal end rhyme Finish: long, black Coincidentally, shredded tobacco, burnt oak, caramelized peach pie, a bit of butter dessert Body: medium-heavy, with tannins, not too bitter, not too sweet and sour

    Nose: 86/100
    Palate: 92/100
    Finish: 92/100
    Body: 87/100
    Overall: 89+1/100

Overall: emmmm is the first Shirley bucket that tastes good, maybe there are peaches. I have given the Clam family bucket nearly 90 points before, which is a matter of business. My dad said this wine is very fragrant, and remembered his face curled up at 10 when he smelled it

A great Kavalan solist sherry cask.

    Nose: 90.5
Nice mixture of blackcurrant, raisins, blueberry, longan and raisins. with hint of chocolate and a little bit honey.

Almonds, nuts, blackberry and Plums. Medium oily and elegant body. More plums, toffee and a little bit of plastic-like taste. Very strong, solid but still smooth even mouthful with it.

Long length with warm and soft feeling, and followed by a little bit of dark chocolate and coffee. What a wonderful daily dram!

This is really a sherry monster but still enjoyable. The stuff I find really good, or great even, tends to be a bit more subtle.
    • Nose
      91 91
Extreme sherry aromas. A sort of cherry syrup, an assortment of red fruits, raspberries and plumbs. There is a weak hint of mint, followed by varnish. Also dark chocolate.
    • Taste
      93 93
Some fruit again with blackberries and plumbs. There is also the darker, heavier sherry with dark chocolate and coffee powder. It is very accessible and a little bit of water but really isn't needed.
    • Finish
      92 92
Very long with very slightly bitter with tobacco leaves and cocoa. The best Kavalan sherry single cask I have tasted in this two years.
