This is a friendly Bowmore, which you could drink all evening during some company from people that like an occasional dram. It's nothing spectacular, but it's still very decent.
Soapy, mineral, and herbal are the key words. Lavender, potpourri, wet rocks, fresh coriander. All in all quite soapy. Then there is rather green barley, vanilla, and a distinct nose of smoke. Water reduces the soapy character and empowers the malty and herbal character. The smoke is more detectable, with some cold ash.
Still quite soapy: some good old lavender soap from l'Occitane. Lemon curd, pepper, vanilla, and barley. It's rather simple and compact.
Rather short, and just a prolongation from the taste.
