    Balance (23)
    Lovely Molt (92)
    • Nose
Crazy flavor, sea, oysters, wax fruits, citrus, chocolate, peat, lube oil, dusty grass, vanilla mustard, fresh newspaper (23)
    • Taste
Oily, fruity, salt, iodine, vanilla and apples, butter (23)
    • Finish
The finish is soft, fruit and salty ash, tobacco ash, peat ... lemon, dry skin, prunes, warm biscuit crust poured with engine oil, old bandages in a bucket of popcorn, candy with menthol ointment (23)

23 + 24 + 23 + 22 = 92 ~ Delicious salmon-oyster ringing smoky-spring Ardbeg! Not a shadow of a modern smoky pickle for rotten meat of the same type of us. Unfortunately, bottle was blown in the company of absolute idiots, watched as they jammed him with shots and tears dimmed

  3. malt_fan_06 scored this whisky 89 points Expert Senior

Nice nose, a little weaker in the mouth. Warmer and less complex and intense than L7 297. Very good and close to the magical 90 P.
    • Nose
Neatly deep, expressive. Peaty, minimal smoke in the background. Mussel shells, also salty maritime, lemon, grapefruit and quite a bit of pickaxe. Vanilla, minty gum. Even a hint of flowery. Multilayered and subtle.
    • Taste
Sweet. Toffee full, marzipan, smoky, peaty, round, slightly oily, yummy. Fruity undertones, plus coffee, leather, tobacco, ripe yellow apples, a little white pepper. A little too sweet and toffee-flavored for my taste, but still very good.
    • Finish
Tobacco, leather, ashes, dry-smoky, slightly phenolic (bandages), with toffee, vanilla and apples again. Drier than on the palate. Medium long, harmonious.
