At only 30 bottles, this might well be the "rarest" (only in terms of bottles made, mind you) Bladnoch ever. What surprises me is that such a low outturn is hard to explain without considering that this was a shared cask. But ... as far as I know, SMWS don't share their cask, do they ? I guess the remaining options are :
- A big part of the cask was involved in one of their recent blends / blended malts, like Exotic Cargo, although I really doubt it.
- There was some leakage (or an accident while manipulating the cask or the bottles, that led to a significant loss of whisky).
If anyone has some input on this, that'd be great ! :)
