  1. Kensay scored this whisky 85 points Expert Senior

Unusual experimental malt, bold and unexpected
    • Nose
Dill with parsley, medicine, some peat and iodine
    • Taste
Cucumber pickle, herbs and some spices
    • Finish
      Fresh, harmoniously complements the body

  2. Ostap scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

Unexpected whiskey, a little shocked. Almost complete Laphroaig. I got a lot of fun. Very consistent.
    • Nose
      87 87
Quiet, smoky, hospital, smoked, fish (greasy, light salty fish), baked duck with apples, salted, raw dough, earth notes, autumn leaves fall in the park, fire in the same park, plaster, fresh cucumber, sawdust from under sawmills, walnuts, breeds, a bit of a barnyard, some guilty notes over time, mint freshness.
    • Taste
      87 87
Smoke, fire, pepper, sweetish and oily, smoked, sautéed with prunes, nuts, thistle.
    • Finish
      85 85
Here already the grain component is felt, splashing alcohol, oak, smoky, sweet, smoked, prunes, a waffle cup from under the ice cream. Slightly shrill.

  3. Calmar scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

A good, strong whiskey, the center of gravity here is certainly taste, the aroma is rather poor and slightly clamped, and the finish only emphasizes the basic tones of taste, harmoniously, powerfully, tasty.
    • Nose
Calm, wet, ash, lemon peel, grain, malt, peat, mineral notes - stone powder, plaster, gypsum; some wet wool and animal shades.
    • Taste
Powerful, rich, oak, ash, sweet creamy notes, caramel, charred branches, peat, metallic acidity, ginger, red mountain ash.
    • Finish
Spicy, warming, peat, ash, grain, oak, ginger, sweet caramel notes.

Barrel Laphroaig worked, the nose is interesting, and then ... grain is grain, for a miracle it is not enough time, IMHO

    Nose 20, taste 19, finish 22, balance 20

  7. Trops scored this whisky 81 points Member Senior

In the beginning, grain alcohol is strongly felt, in the development of Laphroaig all the same it introduces its notes and tints the base a little. Interesting as an experiment.
