Irish whiskys generally have the reputation of being more harmonious and milder by their triple burning than their Scottish counterparts, who are usually double-burned. This definitely does not apply to this bottling. This whisky, bottled exclusively for 'irish-whiskys.de', is more fiery and wild. He is complex, almost complicated. But he offers the more experienced connoisseur an interplay of flavors. He is also still to have a really reasonable price.
    • Nose
Very ripe fruits. Apples, bananas, sugar melon. In addition bright chocolate and honey. The 58% go through. Cinnamon gets a bit warmed up. With water, the fruits show more clearly and floral tones are added.
    • Taste
Strong, peppery onset. Then honey sweetness and seasoning. Slowly the ripe fruits come through, all wrapped up in a wild pepperiness. The salivation is stimulated. The chocolate comes through. There are more and more aromas that show themselves alternately.
    • Finish
Long. The peppery pungency clothes the whole mouth, but in a pleasant way.
