Really bold and very impressive whisky. Definitely one of the testiest I ever tried. Rich and full of flowers, sweetness this whisky is ready to meet all Your expectations.

Sweet fresh fruits (fresh green apple, tropical fruits, lychee), vanilla, strong honey, sweet ginger spices wrapped into delicious waves of peaty smoke, flowers, old wood, dried apricot, barley malt.
    • Taste
      86 86
First comes with peaty smoke, roasted barley malt notes followed by dryness, spices, vanilla, dried fruits (mostly apricots), old wood.
    • Finish
      82 82
Finish echoes and continues taste with dry ginger cut.

    (Batch 06 in 2017)

N- Well integrated heather, tropical fruits, lychee, liquorice and minty, then the peaty part comes in with layer of petro nuance at a distant with raw spices, more fruits syrup and get quite ashy. Richness of oily fried sweet pastry, edible flower, drifts of farm-y notes, toffee and butterscotch. (87/21)

P- Red berries liquorice candy with lightness of white fruits, coated with bitter chocolate, minty honey and scents of cardboard, wee pale and light on the build up, probably due to oxidation. (85/19)

F- Short-medium, smooth with tinge of bitter chocolate lingers with soft rising smokes. (86/20)

Body/Balance- 86/20, feel lack of stamina, but poured from an almost emptied bottle, probably oxidation has occurred.

    Weighted Rate- 80pt
