BAM - right of the bat heavy but yet fresh sherry - like you would expect from a cigar malt from 1997. A bunch of sweet tobacco. Thick plum juice and tried dates.
Yes this may be oversherried but it is not often that one finds such a lovely sherry matured whisky. -
Thick sherry, woody, dark berries, sweet tobacco, prunes. In the end there is a little bit of bitterness. On the mid palate I get a light sauce.

Such a condense sherry note - i have never tasted paxerette but if i image what it would taste like this is it. A little bit dry in the end - nothing that bothers me.
