Whisky Reviews for Longmorn 1992 SV

Fruity and massive sherrynase, apple, pear, lots of brown cane sugar, very spicy oak. Very lively, but still soft and complex according to age. But still has something lively. Apple pie with caramel.
In the mouth a surprisingly strong and slightly peppery start. Would not be expected at this age, but goes well with the still very fruity type. Tart oak plays with the sweetness of the apples and then changes to the bitter, slightly bitter finish. It leaves a taste of apple and oak.

    Delicious!

Needs some time, but then really nice complex - like this game between fruit, oak and the perfectly integrated alcohol. Really great whisky

Sadly did not take notes while exploring this beauty.

Has everything I enjoy in a whisky... only in the nose it somehow lacked for me "a bit". Otherwhise would have been a 92 for me, I think that is nearly the highest rating from me ever.

    Great mouth feel, great finish.
Quite a shame I only kept 5cl of my bottle and shared the rest.
Local Dealer Series overall was a great experience, but this bottle was by far the most enjoyable.
    (next: GlenAllachie, Deanston, Glen Grant)
