Notes from two blind tastings:
-
At first it was cooling in the nose, but the alcohol did not sting and you could smell the whisky pleasantly. Red fruits dominate, paired with the sweetness of vanilla and, with a little water, marzipan. As a counterpoint, there is a slight herbal impact. Later, a salty note is added and the whole thing changes from sweet to salty.
I also like the smell on the second impression. Is beautiful and varied, without any missing notes. -
The whiksy runs thickly over the tongue and it becomes instantly very dry. A fruity wave of red berries rolls over your cheeks. With a little water you can leave the whisky in your mouth longer, then there is leather and liquorice on top.
-
Leaves a pleasant medium-long, leathery finish. Every now and then the red berries flash.
