Not a single written review? Baahh...Just a load of flippers boosting this overpriced blend. Glad I didn't get on this hype train.

Already in the nose you have a breathtaking / beguiling Duftpotpourri.
This noble drop is always consistent and exciting, as well as mysterious profound and unfortunately also pleasantly tasty.

@MGHOW: If you have not got any bottle, or sample of it, don`t talk and don`t be jealous that others have got one bottle and you don`t. Thats life! = ;-)

Clearly: Mon Cheri Praline: Cherry in a sweet liqueur covered in dark chocolate, acacia honey, light smoke, milk chocolate, a little bit sprightly, eggnog, fruity, floral, fresh almond speculum, stone pine
    • Taste
      92 92
subtle but clearly perceptible sweetness, a lot of sherry, mildness and softness, medium oak bitterness, then builds a burning on which briefly becomes almost impetuous as the high sea, then subsides. The whiskey is always full of spice and harmony. The rearing of the alcohol in the taste forms an interesting tension.
    • Finish
      93 93
Short mentholic, then very long mild sweet harmonious finish with subtle oak bitterness and barely noticeable smoke.

A very marketable name with loads of fake scores. Collectors and flippers abound. How's the actual whisky?

Good start. Sweet and waxy, with loads of vanilla. Coca Cola Vanilla? Sure, why not. Ripe pears, Bartlett and Korean types.

Very watery entry. Seriously. Why is it so watery? Once you chew on it, then you get some hints of the Clynelish waxiness and white fruits. There is some peat from Caol Ila, but not much. Clynelish definitely predominates here, just like the nose. But again, why is this so weak?

Really, this whisky is not bad and super quaffable but seriously????!!!! $500 retail??? Someone is laughing ALLLLL the way to the bank. Just buy a well-aged Clynelish for $250 and add a few drops of Caol Ila. You'll spend half the price of this or less for something of better quality. You're very welcome.

Beautiful nose and that's it ... behind it is a big disappointment, I expected so much more. It is clearly overvalued.
Too expensive for what it is !
    • Nose
Pretty peat that fades with time. Fruit compote (orange, peach, apricot ...).
There is also wax, precious wood, honey and vanilla.
    • Taste
Sweet spices, nice punch, woody with a slight bitterness and an embarrassing citric side.
    • Finish
Average length on spices and a sweet smoke. There is green wood and bitterness.

    18 for a blended!
    • Nose
salt, sweet spices, then fine peat
yellow fruits stewed with a vanilla background
wax, fat that stays in the nostrils
      gingerbread too
      it's fine, good mix!
    • Taste
the maritime side comes out with dry peat
      sodden wood occurs
the aqueous wax, a little encaustic there with fruits cooked but not macerated, almost fresh, just crushed, peach, a little mandarin and lemon
spices that amplify the sensation in the mouth without more.
fresh ground almonds and vanilla and some dried herbs
    • Finish
quite long with a fine smoke, a little candied citrus and the humid woody
      a little orange and vanilla.
