At times, the residual peat is even more for me that on some Springbank expression. This is probably due to the triple distillation. One of the rare examples, when I like it more on the palate then on the nose.
fizzy apple laces, lemon posset, slightly damp hay
fresh green apple and pear, waxed citrus, walnut oil, becoming funkier with some restrained new sneakers and farmyard, with just a wisp of smoke appearing into the finish (longrow casks?) with more fresh citrus, a touch of pineapple, and soft dunnage-y funk.
