    Smells good, tastes good ... 100-120 € are certainly not cheap, but not unfair given the age and barrel strength.
    • Nose
      Raisins, dried apricots, orangeate ... may sound schizophrenic, but somehow it has something of juicy dried fruit ... fresh sawdust and malt
    • Taste
      s. Nose, but a little sweeter and a little less fruity, with toffee ... very tasty (even if the nose is nicer)
    • Finish
      medium length, warm, sweet, malty, gently peppery

      I don't find any grasses / herbs, coconut, caramel, honey, roasted almonds, sweet pastries, cereals, fruit at all, the roasted almonds and coconut intensify again extremely after you've had it in your mouth, then even a minimal fruitiness comes out, me would say apricots or something like that

      Dried apricot, dried pineapple, caramel, dried herbs, really spicy with a lot of pepper, but also other spices, wood

    Another lovely Benrinnes, simultaneously floral, spicy, fruity and waxy. The nose is the highlight, for sure.

      Thyme honey, beeswax, apricot, blood orange, stroopwafel, warm coconut milk, and an entire summer meadow full of flowers and herbs. Super creamy and just straight-up lovely.
    • Taste
      88 88
      Juicy, sweet and spicy, with freshly squeezed orange juice, honey, and oak spice (think nutmeg and ginger). Becomes a bit more tart toward the death.
    • Finish
      87 87
      Sweet, with herbal honey, coconut and caramel, but also mildly astringent, with dry wood, quinine, pepper, and a touch of chalk.
