delicious direct malt with above-average brilliance and clarity with minimal errors - there is something missing in the matrix between the beginning and the end - difficult to describe - probably sweetness
    • Nose
      91 91
very clean fruit flavors, citrus, melon, star fruit, gooseberry - some anise, vanilla, pudding cream, then fresh notes from green wood, freshly split wood, tree sap,
    • Taste
      89 89
on the palate as well as on the nose, but more minerally, sparklingly lively with lemon balm and mint - and with a clear alcohol sting - can be chewed wonderfully - sometimes shows more wood aromas, sometimes more fruit but sometimes a little dry cardboard
    • Finish
      88 88
Liquorice, vanilla, licorice, grass, a lot of mild wood aromas - but really has something of vanilla sprinkles sucking from the wooden board - a little dry

Bomb nose, exactly my style. Tasty, complex, fruity. There is not much more to the price.
    • Nose
      91 91
Great fruit cocktail. Pineapple, papaya, passion fruit! The dash of lemon goes wonderfully with the fruit salad. Very sweet, minimal vanilla.
    • Taste
      91 91
Extremely tasty. All the fruit load again. There is also a nice ginger tingle. Almost carbonated. Citrus and vanilla again. Slightly tart towards the end. Overall, very creamy mouthfeel.
    • Finish
      90 90
Great finish, creamy, slightly tart. Citrus. Salivation is stimulated.

One of the best Glen Keith I've ever had. As has often been the case with a small batch of 2 barrels, it can produce excellent results as it can compensate for errors or deficiencies.
Combined I find here grassy hay notes, flower meadow with bright litter and fall fruits, such as apples, pears, peach and apricot, mirabelles, gooseberries, plus vanilla from the oak, some oak spice, slightly spicy on the finish.
    Delicious.

    • Nose
fruity and woody are the first impressions. especially light citrus and sweet apples also a slight hint of melon.
    • Taste
on the palate, the fruit notes go back a bit. a slightly peppery but pleasant feeling is added. also a slight bitterness which I assign to the wood fits in one
    • Finish
Now the fruit notes become stronger again, at least for a short time, then woody notes slowly emerge which slowly disappear into a medium long finish

    A 27 from SV
    • Nose
bouquet of fruits, a little syrup on yellow and white fruits that have remained in the pot by the fire; a little grassy then, a little minty, then the malt that is felt with the wood a little dry
a little fine spice to raise a little more the nose
    • Taste
apple syrup, cooked pear, a little lemon with zest for acidity, a little orange citrus, a little bitterness, dry wood, a little honeyed side too.
return by the varied fruits and intense and very sweet on the melon too mur.herbes again more dry here.
    • Finish
long enough, a bit bitter, then fruit, malt, wood, spices all amalgamated, very pleasant sensation in the bottom of the glass.
