    ● The dress.
Gray gold, slow and wide tears.

    ● The nose.
Very root, gentian and grapefruit skin, Asian pomelos, grapefruit seed, yuzu and new wood on a sweet vanilla. Beyond is revealed the lilac and the honeysuckle.
    Anise and verbena.
    That it's fresh.

    ● The mouth.
New wood and pink pepper, again the Asian pomelos, seed and peel of pink grapefruit, lemon confit and anise, verbena and sage, violet, lilac and honey of flowers.
    From the minerality: Crystalline.

    ● The final.
Long on grapefruit and its glitch.

    Great. Fresh, tangy and medical.
I love it, flanked by citrus fruits for my greatest pleasure.

If it had to be given a subjective rating, it would be a 90.

For its young age this one's already pretty mature. Fruity and sweet, nice fresh whisky, very pleasant.

Fruits, pear, tropical fruit, fresch. Some peach, later on sweetness comes in, a lot of vanilla then.
    • Taste
      86 86
Slightly tingling with some pepper, sweet honey. Peach. Pretty full taste.
    • Finish
      87 87
Stronger now, tingling, more pepper. Again some peach and honey. Pretty long finish.

Despite it's age and low ABV this Ben Nevis is a very nice bourbon maturing.

    • Taste

    • Finish

Nose: sweet grapes, exotic fruits, some citrus, jelly, very sweet

Mouth: first the sweet exotic fruits, second some peppery notes (that's where you see the young age) smoothly transitioning into the fruits again

Finish: the fruits stay in the mouth

Very interesing and fresh. Certainly worth trying. Better than many distillery bottlings in the 12 - 15 yo range.

Color: light gold, this young whisky aged in bourbon cask is limpid and fat.

Nose: fruity and fresh, to say the least.
Beautiful apples, pears and other fruit from the orchard come tickling nostrils all coated with honey.
A tip of melon is also to my surprise and some more exotic fruits such as pineapple and mango.
Malt is of course not far, at least for my nose of “rhummer”
A creamy, gourmet and pastry look emerges from this nose. Very sweet and elegant, I am quite surprised for such a young whisky

Palate: Sweet wish that gives pride to these beautiful fruits and malt. It’s very creamy, melted, fat and sweet.
The yellow fruits, honey, and a nice dose of flowers come to mind. Do not ask me which flowers but it’s floral .
Grapefruit and grapes come to finish the job with a peppery touch.
