9 years, 5 months Sherry Octave Finish, 9 years
Nose: slightly maritime Sherrycharackter, unfortunately not the same density as the standard 12er, like some octaves before a decent dose of caramel
Taste: Cranberries, more sherry, relatively little that I would have assigned to the barrel before the finish
Finish: medium in length with a pronounced spiciness
Conclusion: Yes, in principle, the Octaves of DT is not wrong, but so far, no revelation. The caramel note they have all together, but unfortunately here for me something one-dimensional.
