On the nose there is subtle Springbank, but in taste and finish that is a lot less clear. For a 13yo it is insanely mature and complete. A very unique and highly enjoyable expression.
Oemphf that is a direct hit. Instantly Dark chocolate, coffee and walnuts hit the nose. It reminds me of Nutella. Beautiful wood influences give a clear sprinbank autograph. It is being completed by a nice floral note and a wee hint of a fireplace which make it a nice and complex nose. After 30 minutes in the glass it gets very perfume-like. Nice!
Slightly thin body initially. But it starts to cover and fill the mouth more in a short while. Well balanced, a hint of perfume, varnished wood. Sweet red fruits and mineral-like. Arabic spices come through.
I would not recommend adding water since it feels like a very fragile body.
Long, warming and sweet. A light hint of peat. Not big, delicate. Great balance, very friendly and accessible. A great diversity of mild arabic spices and Fireplace at the end remain. Splendid!
