N- Another important component whisky for the PR blends, no disrespect as some of the GB were very good as Single Malt. Sweet warm malt with lemony zest whiff thru, classic honey, bubble gum with good solid solvent that nicely capped off with chocolate and fresh grassy nuances. Expressive and quite impressive with boldness and amicable, more Highland than a Speyside. (92/23)

P- Taste the semi-charred oak, honey pastry, apricot jam danish. Good body and spicy sweet derived from fine strength for sweet and woody mouth coat, as well some hay and baked honey notes. (90/22)

F- Long, teasing aged waxy oak, nutty, rich and warming. Butter white wine notes. Fine classic malt with minimum tuning. (89/22)

    B/B- 91/22

    Weighted Rate- 89pt

    Cr-3, Fr-3, Fl-2, Pt-0, Ft-3, Sp-0, Wd-3, Wn-2, Sc-2

Premium liquorice, with abundances of cooked fruits, like stewed apples, grapes, etc. It becomes slightly grassy and greener. After a while, intense waves of camphor, furniture warehouse, Penang nutmeg water, wet peddles, limestone. A very complex nose! Very fruity too!
    • Taste
      87 87
Sourish, slightly sweet, more liquorice on the palate, peanuts, nutmeg. Loads of citrusy.
    • Finish
      85 85
Dry, and medium finish. Slightly bitter, a bit of herbal notes.

    Really great whisky, loved it.

Color is Eiswein if I trust Charles Maclean's whisky wheel. After a swirl, lots of small heads form quickly but then gravity almost stops, and after 30s only a couple thin legs have gone down.
    • Nose
      91 91
Nose is fruity on apples and citrus, with a hint of nail polish remover (I love that) and acetone, quite floral too. A touch of walnut too, maybe.
    • Taste
      91 91
On the palate, very fruity at first, on apple and exotic fruits (pineapple, passion, mango) then become spicy (chili) for a moment. After that, spices go down, the texture becomes really creamy, and the palate evolves to slightly bitter with a touch of grapefruit, then tobacco
    • Finish
      88 88
Finish is long, on oak, bitterness and black coffee, and is slightly drying

A very tropical nose on kiwi, vanilla, passionfruit, with some oak and tobacco on the background
Very hot and smooth mouth, extremely tropical, mango, peach
