Overall very rounded and pleasant drink, not too complex but enough variety to keep it from being boring.
    • Nose
      84 84
Pleasant balanced between vanilla, soft tropical fruits and some fresh citric notes, hint of sawdust underneath.
    • Taste
      85 85
Very well rounded and quite thick on arrival. Milk chocolate, pears, sherry and spices.
    • Finish
      83 83
Spices take over but never overwhelm, pleasant funky sherry sweetness lingers.

Very sour and bitter. The wood tones predominate, in my opinion too much.

Wry, too predominant wood. Slightly fruity.
    • Taste
again the predominant wood. Like nibbling on a cigar box.
    • Finish

You can immediately smell the aroma of sherry or wine. Also raisins, dried fruits, a hint of tanned wood, but also sweeter tones such as raspberries, blackberries or cranberries
The taste really feels like something toasted first, barbecue, a mixture of meat, mild spices, sweetness of fruit and mild acidity of the wine.
Overall a very nice shot, but suitable for evenings in the evenings, as it is pleasantly expressive.

  12. Brann scored this whisky 80 points Connoisseur

    Nose: The sherry breaks through
Taste: No, no, no so boring, and the finish was short.
    This was disappointing.
Hardly a china putt at 80 points

On the nose, it is sweet and vanilla, with seeds and cereals. Then passion fruit, banana, papaya, leather, wood. The red fruits are in the background, and stand out in the mouth, raspberries, blueberries, one or two blackcurrant seeds. Spices, paprika, cumin, ginger. Orange jam, dried apricots. It's friendly and warm. The finish is quite long, on heather earth, pine forest, some cinnamon, curry, some coffee beans. Chocolate milk. Chicory.

N- Fresh lemon caramel, dried fruits are apparent that comes with pleasant touch of vanilla, nutmeg, tobacco, cut kiwi, barley porridge, nutty with layer of mint. Salt rub dried ham, toasted pepper, then back to bourbon oak of maple and liquorice, even some monk fruits if you try hard enough. For a NAS, this has exceed the expectation for depth and evolves actively. (91/22)

P- Abundant of dried fruits with fine nuttiness, sunflower seed aroma that I have not come across for a long time. Oak fruit with savoury side of salt and pepper. (87/21)

F- Short-medium, hearty oak afloat, dried fruit coated, dry mouthfeel with chewy tannin. Not with much weigh but the fine bouquet and depth made up for it. (86/20)
