collector info: different batches from this whiskey exist.

most rare - Batch 1 - 700ML Version, only bottled for Ireland
    (some auctioned on Swa recently)

750 ML Version (US Version) is not rare at all - big amounts were bottled.

Most EU shop sell 700 ML Version (Batch 2) which also has a very big output.

So ask for bottle code / Batch number before you buy. Batch 2 EU-Versions and US 750ML not interesting for collecting.

This is the whiskey that has now got me hooked on whiskey.

After trying many, I still keep going back to this. I find the taste sharp, but smooth and fresh on the tongue.

    The BBC tells us:
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/mixed-martial-arts/51093202

'Five months after his defeat by Nurmagomedov, McGregor announced on social media that he had retired from the sport - but that turned out to be premature.

The Irishman also made news for two other unsavoury incidents.

In one, he was accused of smashing a fan's phone - although the charges were subsequently dropped following his arrest - and in another, he punched a man in a Dublin pub and was convicted of assault.

Conor McGregor attending court in Dublin
Conor McGregor was fined £861 after pleading guilty to assaulting a man in a Dublin pub last April

Away from these incidents, McGregor has been heavily promoting his own brand of whiskey, which he says generated more than $1bn (£770m) in its first year'.

Not my favourite, but I hope you already gathered that from my notes.
    • Nose
Very light, and not a beacon of complexity. Hints of straw and a soft sweetness, like honey, but also notes of almonds and lime.
    • Taste
Light is the keyword again. Hints of caramel and apple skin, as well as sweet pastries, although bitter spices, ginger and tannins form the backbone.
    • Finish
      Lingering bitterness. Oak. Spices.
