The nose is sherry lead, raisins and Christmas cake. Mud, machine oil and Tamari almonds.

The palate is an eye opener! Wow huge body here! The quality of he sherry speaks volumes... big spices and sweet tea cakes. Camphor and grape skins meet roasted nuts and spices (cardamom and clove, mace and cinnamon). Motor oil and vanilla essential oils. As it opens there’s even some peat in the background.

The finish is long... very long; you can tell this is old whisky; quality oak hardwood and balsamic vinegar (the really good stuff), nutmeg on top of sweet flan.
