Color: Dark Gold
Be careful - this Glengoyne starts very powerful, with intensive flavors and plenty of alcohol.
It has a fantastic fruitiness, with aromas of banana, papaya, melon and sultanas.
The nose is really lovely, full of Christmas cake and pudding. There are also notes that remind me of an old wine cellar and a carpenter's workshop.
Powerful and bold, sweet, fruity and spirituous at first mouthfeel.
Sweet, fruity and spicy-spirituous, when swallowed, with ginger and pepper. It has a lovely taste that reminds me of orange cake. Furthermore there are notes of oak, caramel, sherry, straw and dry grass.
Long and satisfying. On the one hand it is spicy and oaky, on the other hand sweet and fruity with sherry.
