Whisky Reviews for Springbank 1996 Arc

- Smell: A high-end open hand-baked shop, the display cabinets are placed with high-quality cream cakes, fresh green plants are full of the store, faint grass and melon vines, some raw materials in the display cabinet are dazzling, lemon leaves, vanilla Pods, petals for decoration. The overall balance is high, and the fragrance is fresh and pleasant.
Drinking: The pleasing oil and wrapping feel, and its subtle tannins make the taste more three-dimensional. Green grass, melon vines, nectar, the end rhyme brings out a lot of orange juice, jackfruit, mango, full of fragrance.
Feeling: Easy Drink, sweet and clean, the characteristics of Genting in the 1990s are highly compatible with the bourbon barrel. But there will be no surprises, I am willing to drink this in a cozy afternoon.
- A good Sprinbank, with nice citric, cucumber, mineral and metallic notes. There is something slightly off in the finish. Some oak I did not expect.
- Simply very good and flawless.
Tied with # 56 for me.
Really want to taste it again in a few months after aeration in the bottle.
Nose simple enough.
We have mineral first.
Then lemon, lemongrass, pineapple and papaya.
More mineral than the nose. Pebbles, chalk.
We have lemon, orange.
A touch of camphor and ashes.
Final quite pronounced on the cold ashes.
We have a very nice balance with citrus fruits.
- A great Springbank indeed.
Lemon peel and creamed barley sugar, very typical Springbank, very light smoke and some minerals.
Intense, rotten vegetables, rich dark fruits.
Medium, smoked sweet barley.
