This whisky starts with quite pleasant nose, although very young but vivid and with beautifully integrated sherriness. Even notable fusel oil aromas play very well with other nose components. However, the palate is a complete disappointment: it’s unbalanced, bitter and very spirituous. The finish is also rather unpleasant. So I wouldn’t buy this whisky even for the half of its price.
Very young with notable sherry notes - sultanas and dried apricots, strong maltiness, grassy notes, stewed vegetables, earth and dust on the background
Medium-sweet, spirituous, solvent, strong bitterness, malty, woody with strong tannins, porridge note
Dry, medium-long, bitter, somewhat nutty, malty
